Antonia Lofaso

The food of Chef Antonia invites guests to explore the depths. She began to be interested in food and cooking after moving from suburban Long Island to the diverse culture in Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas can be found to coexist in harmony on the menu, a belief which has evolved through many years. The only thing that remains is her unique vision of the future while longingly recalling the old. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso who was influenced by her Italian American roots. It received an enthusiastic reception. Lofaso has been praised by her fans for her rendition of traditional Italian cuisine. Lofaso's food is consistently authentic, inviting and undeniably delicious. Lofaso had been an apprentice to culinary masters, absorbing their techniques as well as taking risks. She never hesitated to take risks to pursue her intuition. She worked closely with many famous people and quickly rose through the ranks in Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso joined forces with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, an upscale bar located within Studio City. The home of Lofaso was located in Black Market Liquor Bar and her business partnerships. This collaboration would foster creativity and freedom Lofaso desired. The goal of Black Market is not to limit itself by any means. It would start with dill-flavored potato chips Shishito peppers, then continue with Korean Wings. Antonia is the anchor for this bold array of flavours. Lofaso's success has been measured through her ability to remain true to herself while still being able to comprehend her audience. Famous appearances in Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars showed her talents outside of the kitchen. Lofaso's talents are also evident in her recurring roles as judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge, and on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child & the ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso has teamed up together with Penguin in 2012 to launch The Busy Mother's Cookbook, 100 Recipes to prepare Delicious home-cooked Meals. The book tells her story about the obstacles she faced while attending an institution called the French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso believes that the main driving force behind her successes is the kitchen she uses. In this way, she is always on pulse. Through her Chefletics brand, she's altering the appearance of her industry by re-designing clothes for the kitchen that are stylish as well as practicality. The main goal of Lofaso is staying in line with her mission. To achieve this goal she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. This provides customers with an extremely personal experience.
